EU CONSUMER PROTECTIONS
This page applies to eligible consumer purchases made through Haus Of Alchemy by customers residing in the European Union.
EU consumer law provides certain mandatory rights relating to distance contracts, product information, withdrawal, returns, refunds, product conformity, complaints, and after-sales service. These rights apply in addition to Haus Of Alchemy's general policies.
Where applicable EU or national law provides rights or remedies that differ from or exceed those stated in our general policies, the applicable statutory requirements will prevail.
PRE-CONTRACT INFORMATION
Before completing an eligible online purchase, consumers will be provided with the information required by applicable law, including, as applicable:
- The identity and contact information of Haus Of Alchemy
- The principal characteristics of the applicable product or service
- The total purchase price and applicable charges
- Available payment and delivery arrangements
- Applicable delivery restrictions
- Applicable cancellation and withdrawal rights
- Applicable return and refund conditions
- Available after-sales services and complaint procedures
- Applicable legal guarantee information
Product-specific information, pricing, availability, delivery terms, and other applicable conditions may be presented on the product page, during checkout, or through the policies referenced during the purchase process. EU distance-selling rules require specified information to be provided clearly before the consumer is bound by the contract.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Subject to applicable exceptions, EU consumers have the right to withdraw from an eligible distance contract within 14 days without providing a reason.
For contracts for the sale of goods, the withdrawal period generally begins when the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods. Special rules may apply to orders delivered in multiple shipments or consisting of multiple lots or pieces.
EXERCISING THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
A consumer exercising the right of withdrawal must communicate the decision to Haus Of Alchemy within the applicable withdrawal period.
Withdrawal may be exercised through the electronic withdrawal mechanism provided for applicable EU purchases or by contacting:
support@thehausofalchemy.shop
A reason for withdrawal is not required.
Following a valid withdrawal, the goods must be returned without undue delay and within the period required by applicable law.
RETURN COSTS
Unless Haus Of Alchemy has agreed to bear the cost or applicable law provides otherwise, the consumer is generally responsible for the direct cost of returning goods following withdrawal.
Where required, information concerning return costs will be provided before purchase.
REFUNDS FOLLOWING WITHDRAWAL
Where a valid right of withdrawal has been exercised, Haus Of Alchemy will process the applicable refund in accordance with mandatory law.
The refund generally includes payments received from the consumer, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered. Additional charges resulting from the consumer's selection of a more expensive delivery method are generally excluded.
Where permitted by applicable law, reimbursement may be withheld until the returned goods have been received or the consumer has provided evidence that the goods have been returned, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will generally be issued using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed or required by law.
EXCEPTIONS TO THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply in all circumstances.
Depending on the nature of the product or service, applicable exceptions may include:
- Goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized
- Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly
- Certain sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed
- Certain digital content where performance has begun following the consumer's required consent and acknowledgment
- Certain services where performance has begun under the conditions established by applicable law
The availability of an exception depends upon the applicable law and the specific circumstances of the transaction.
LEGAL GUARANTEE OF CONFORMITY
The right of withdrawal is separate from the consumer's statutory rights concerning defective or non-conforming goods.
Under EU consumer law, goods are subject to a minimum two-year legal guarantee against lack of conformity, subject to applicable law. Depending on the circumstances and the applicable national rules, a consumer may be entitled to repair or replacement, or to a price reduction or refund where the legal requirements are satisfied. Member States may provide additional protections.
A commercial warranty or other voluntary guarantee offered by Haus Of Alchemy, if any, does not replace or reduce mandatory statutory rights.
DEFECTIVE, DAMAGED, OR NON-CONFORMING GOODS
If a product is defective, damaged, or does not conform to the applicable purchase contract, contact:
support@thehausofalchemy.shop
Please provide the order number and sufficient information to identify the product and nature of the issue.
Any statutory remedy will be determined in accordance with applicable EU and national law.

STATUTORY RIGHTS
Nothing contained in this page, or in any Haus Of Alchemy policy, terms, product description, or other contractual provision, is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive any mandatory consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
EU consumer protection requirements may be supplemented by national laws of the Member State in which the consumer resides. Where national law provides additional mandatory protections, those protections remain applicable.
ELECTRONIC WITHDRAWAL
Where required for applicable EU distance contracts, Haus Of Alchemy will provide an electronic means through which consumers may exercise their right of withdrawal.
The applicable electronic withdrawal function will be made accessible through the online purchasing environment. EU rules provide for an online withdrawal function allowing consumers to exercise the withdrawal right electronically.
EU LEGAL GUARANTEE NOTICE
For applicable consumer goods, Haus Of Alchemy will provide the mandatory information concerning the statutory legal guarantee of conformity required under applicable EU law.
The statutory legal guarantee is independent of any voluntary commercial guarantee or warranty and may not be reduced by such an offering.
GOVERNING CONSUMER PROTECTIONS
This page should be read together with the Terms of Service, Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Policy, Shipping Policy, Pre-Order Policy, and other applicable Haus Of Alchemy policies.
Nothing in those policies is intended to deprive an EU consumer of mandatory protections applicable to the transaction.
