🜂 Care For Your Candle As Part Of The Ritual

Every Haus Of Alchemy candle is handcrafted with intention, fragrance, and artistry. Proper care helps your candle burn evenly, release its fragrance beautifully, and extend its life.

🜁 Your First Burn

The first burn establishes the candle’s melt pattern.

• Burn for 2–4 hours.
• Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface.
• Never burn longer than 4 hours at a time.
• Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts.

🜃 Wick Care

Trim your wick to approximately ¼ inch before each burn.

Remove excess wick debris and keep the flame centered.

🜄 Cotton Wicks

Cotton wicks provide a steady flame and consistent fragrance release. Proper trimming helps reduce excessive flame height and soot.

🜅 Wooden Wicks

Remove excess charred wood before each burn. Keep the wick clean and centered.

Wooden wicks may require additional attention during the first few burns as the natural wood adjusts.

🜆 Crystal-Embedded Candles

Some Haus Of Alchemy candles contain crystals selected to complement the candle’s intention.

• Never handle or remove crystals while the wax is hot.
• Allow the candle to cool completely before handling.
• Once the candle is finished, remove and cleanse the crystals for continued personal use.

Natural variations in crystal size, shape, and color are expected.

🜇 Your Handmade Candle

Because Haus Of Alchemy candles are handcrafted in small batches, natural variations may occur, including frosting, slight color differences, texture variations, and minor surface imperfections.

These characteristics are part of the handmade process and do not necessarily affect candle performance.

🜈 Candle Safety

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Always:

• Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials.
• Keep away from curtains, fabrics, and drafts.
• Never burn longer than 4 hours at a time.
• Stop burning when approximately ½ inch of wax remains.
• Extinguish completely before leaving the room.
• Allow the vessel to cool before moving it.

🜉 When The Candle Is Finished

Allow the remaining wax to cool completely before cleaning the vessel.

Your vessel may be repurposed as a container for ritual tools, botanicals, crystals, or personal treasures.
