Reflections from the Atlanta Women’s Expo: The Journey from Alchemy7 to The Haus of Alchemy
In November 2023, I had the honor of showcasing Alchemy7 at the Atlanta Women’s Expo, a gathering filled with vibrant energy, inspirational women business owners, and countless meaningful connections. At that time, we were Alchemy7, a brand with a growing line of spiritual and intention candles. This event was more than a showcase; it was a pivotal moment that shaped the future direction of what is now The Haus of Alchemy. Here’s a look back at the unforgettable experiences and realizations that inspired our transformation.
1. New Product Launches and Reactions
The expo was the perfect opportunity to introduce our new offerings and upgraded candle designs. One standout was our figural candles, customized with powerful intentions to blend seamlessly into any home decor. It was thrilling to see the positive reactions, especially when I sold my first customized figural candle of Oshun! People loved the unique design and the energy that each candle carried.
The figural candles became an instant hit, sparking curiosity and excitement. But the highlight for me was reconnecting with a dear friend I hadn’t seen in 10 years—a reminder of how meaningful connections happen in ways we don’t always expect. The power of community and curiosity was alive, and the feedback showed that people wanted spiritual products that fit beautifully into their lives, both in aesthetic and purpose.
2. Reflecting on Growth and Learning
While the event wasn’t as crowded as anticipated, it was filled with inspiring women business owners and curious attendees. I met so many wonderful people eager to explore spirituality, many of whom purchased products, giving me the opportunity to introduce Alchemy7 to a wider audience. Through these interactions, I realized our brand could benefit from a shift in direction—one that truly aligned with our mission of empowering people to embrace spirituality in their daily lives.
The Atlanta Women’s Expo was a turning point. I came to understand that people wanted a lifestyle of spirituality but didn’t always know where to begin or how to navigate the journey without fear or judgment. This sparked the decision to reimagine the brand and focus on providing a roadmap for people who seek a spiritual path, yet need a supportive, fearless guide.
3. The Path to The Haus of Alchemy
After the expo, it was clear that Alchemy7 was evolving. People’s enthusiasm for spiritual practices, paired with the feedback we received, led to the birth of The Haus of Alchemy. Our focus now is to create a community that isn’t just about products but also about cultivating an unshakable sense of confidence in one’s own spiritual journey. We’re here to provide a sanctuary and a set of tools that help people claim their spirituality with pride.
Over the past year, I have worked hard to expand our line. Now, we proudly offer over 30 different spelled candles, Florida water, a wide selection of sage packages and sticks, and a complete skincare line—all crafted with intention. To our existing customers who have been with us through this journey, we can’t wait to introduce you to these new offerings and share how far we’ve come together. This is why, as of November 1, our website will be paused, allowing us to prepare for an extraordinary re-launch on December 1. During this time, customers are invited to join our Waiting List to receive exclusive early access, discounts, and subscriber-only offers. Join the Waiting List here.
4. Looking Forward
I am beyond excited to introduce the new Haus of Alchemy to both new customers and the many we connected with at the expo. The Atlanta Women’s Expo was a crucial moment in our journey, helping us understand our purpose and mission in a whole new light. This December, we’re thrilled to welcome all of you—existing and new—to our new space, a community that celebrates intention, confidence, and the magick within.
