The Veil Is Thinning
Every year, as October moves toward November, the veil is said to grow thin. The veil is the name often given to the unseen boundary between the physical world and...
Every Haus Of Alchemy candle is handcrafted with attention to fragrance, materials, and artistry. Proper care helps your candle burn evenly, perform as intended, and extend its life.
The first burn helps establish the candle's melt pattern.
• Burn for approximately 2–4 hours.
• Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface where possible.
• Never burn for longer than 4 hours at a time.
• Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts and flammable materials.

Trim your wick to approximately ¼ inch before each burn. Remove excess wick debris and keep the wick centered to support a clean, controlled flame.
Cotton wicks provide a steady flame and consistent fragrance release. Proper trimming helps control flame height and reduce excessive soot.
Before each burn, remove excess charred wood from the wick and clear any loose debris from the wax.
Wooden wicks may burn differently from cotton wicks and can require additional attention during use. Always follow the care instructions provided with your candle.
Some Haus Of Alchemy candles contain crystals selected to complement the candle's intention.
• Never handle or attempt to remove crystals while the candle is burning or the wax is hot.
• Allow the candle and wax to cool completely before handling.
• Once the candle is finished, crystals may be removed, cleaned, and kept for continued personal or ritual use.
Natural variations in crystal size, shape, color, and placement are expected.
Because Haus Of Alchemy candles are handcrafted in small batches, natural variations may occur. These can include frosting, slight differences in color or texture, and minor surface variations.
These characteristics are part of the handmade process and do not necessarily indicate a defect or affect candle performance.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Always:
• Keep candles away from children and pets.
• Keep away from curtains, fabrics, paper, and other flammable materials.
• Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
• Keep away from drafts and air currents.
• Never burn for longer than 4 hours at a time.
• Stop burning when approximately ½ inch of wax remains in the vessel.
• Extinguish the flame completely before leaving the room.
• Allow the vessel to cool completely before touching or moving it.
Once the candle has reached the end of its usable life, allow the vessel and remaining wax to cool completely before handling or cleaning.
Once properly cleaned, your vessel may be repurposed as a container for ritual tools, botanicals, crystals, or personal treasures.
Manifest Your Vision.
